Thrive Nutrition Services contracted with the Bon Homme School District in 2010. Since then, Thrive has provided our district with a greater variety of foods and more home cooked style foods than our previous food service provider. We would highly recommend Thrive to any school district who would be interested in changing their current food service program. Thrive implemented their transition plan in year one working with us and the switch was seamless. Since then their team of cooks, kitchen management, dieticians, managers and owners have continued to provide quality service in the ever-changing school meal program. We have had no concerns the past four years, but had any concerns arisen, we know Thrive’s management would have dealt with those concerns in a very timely manner. They keep us informed and check in on a regular basis to make sure things are running smoothly
Thrive works with local vendors whenever possible to procure the best quality products at the highest standards and to ensure the most cost effective value for our partners. We have unique purchasing power with our nationwide network of suppliers and Thrive has developed relationships that allow us to stay on top of market movements, make cost effective menu changes, and stay current with culinary trends.
All Thrive vendors monitor their inventories to ensure the safest flow of products to our schools at all times. They use the latest food safety management systems and are HACCP compliant. In addition, Thrive utilizes the USDA commodities program to its fullest to enhance the districts school nutrition program by adding the most value possible. We will assist in the procurement and monitoring of the commodities. Thrive utilizes commodities in the menu to maintain the highest quality of the product.
